myDiary (DSiWare) Review - Diary BY a Wimpy Kid

Hey Kids? Like carrying around large books of blank paper and writing down your thoughts hoping that someone will read them? How about doing that, but on the DS? Nnooo has come to the rescue with myDiary! What is myDiary? It's myNotebook, but we stuck a calender in it, which myNotebook should have had, and crippled the controls to an unplayable rate! Now pay up!

Oh Nnooo. How I hate you.

Birds & Beans (DSiWare) Review - Everybody knows that the bird is the word!

Imagine... You just got your brand-new Nintendo DSi, and you log on to the newly opened DSiWare Shop. Nintendo has given you a free 1000 points to use, but you still want something cheap, so as to save up for a better game to come in the future. You check the 200 point section, and see one lone game.

BIRDS.

AND.

BEANS.

Rayman (DSiWare) Review - It's FUN to be limbless!

Oh Rayman, you limbless, wonderful creature you. You've been outcast by your own developer, who now prefers games about screaming bunnies. You deserve better.

Rayman is a port of the very first Rayman game for the Playstation, and is a great port at that. This game has everything from the original, with a few more things to make it worth 800 points.

The Plot is that mean ol' Mr. Dark has put all the Lums in cages, and Rayman wants to put a stop to that, because he likes the Lums for some reason. Now, you may have noticed Rayman doesn't have limbs, which works to a great advantage. You attack by pulling your hands off and throwing them at enemies. Along the way you'll get an upgrade to this power which let's you charge. Lovely.

Electroplankton: Marine Crystals (DSiWare) Review - Crystal in the Sky, keep on sparkling.

Before we start off this extremely amazing and witty review, I have to give the back story of Electroplankton. Electroplankton was originally a game for the DS that was focused on making music. The first time everyone played the game, they thought, "Yay! Finally, and easy and fun way to make music!".

Then they loaded the game up the second time.

Electroplankton fell flat on its face because of the reason that you couldn't save or modify any music, so you could experience everything in the game in roughly 15 minutes. Also, there weren't many copies made, and they were only released in one store in North America. The creators of this game were ridiculed and almost driven to the point of endless madness, similar to your friendly reviewer Yokid575.

Mario Clock (DSiWare) Review - What time is it, Mr Wolf?

Do you need a clock on your DS? Probably not, because it comes with one built in on the main screen, but hey, Mario!

That's what this game is, a digital or analog clock, in military or 12-hour time, but with a Super Mario Bros. mini game. The clock function is great and works very well, and is based off of your internal time, but you didn't come to hear me talk about the damn clock.

myPostcards (DSiWare) Review - Thanks for the memories.

Putting the "I" in DSiWare, Nnooo has come out with another "interactive suite" for us to "play" which is "fun".

Oh boy, this is going to be a doozy.

myPostcards is an application that takes pictures with the system's camera and lets you give it a subtitle. Would you like to know what else it does? Nothing. You are paying two bucks for subtitles. Thanks, Nnooo. You really know how to make apps.

10 Second Run (DSiWare) Review - Tick Tock, on the clock, but the platforming won't stop.

Who likes platformers? Pretty much everyone. And why not? Jumping and running are fun, and can be imitated easily in real life without any consequences whatsoever!*

*Warning: NintendoHub takes no responsibility from you injuring yourself by imitating platforming games.

Wario Ware Snapped! (DSi Ware Review)

Wario Ware Snapped! is the newest entry in the Wario Ware series. You would expect this game to take advantage of the DSi's cameras, which it does to provide a fun and unique experience.

It has four decent mini games that involve the camera, which makes it unique in the fact that it has camera-based mini-games. The mini games require quick decisions, which means that it is (sadly) hard to multi-task while playing Wario Ware Snapped!

If you expected my review to be all praise it won't be: the camera stinks at detecting your face, especially in darker areas. Although that may sound like a complaint mainly about the DSi's camera, it also is a complaint about the game.

myNotebook Carbon (DSiWare) Review - Barely Carbonated at all.

myNotebook Carbon is a sequel to the popular myNotebook Green, Red, and Blue. Now, I want to know how the original myNotebook series got popular enough to justify a sequel.

The game is what the title implies, a virtual notebook that has a Carbon color scheme. Holding your system sideways lets you write notes, doodle, or just waste time unlocking things. Yes, you can unlock things in a notebook. Stay with me here.

Spotto! (DSiWare) Review - What the Duck?

Spotto! is a DSiWare title by Intelligent Systems is one of those games you'd usually pass by in the DSi Shop, mostly because it looks like a kiddy mini-game. The truth is that Spotto! is one of the best games you can buy on the shop for two bucks.
