What title is Retro working on?

Retro's been on a roll lately. From Metroid Prime to Donkey Kong Country Returns, they've been creating some quality games.

According to Paul Gale, Retro is currently working on a game for the Wii 2/Wii HD/Project Cafe/Super Wii/Nintendo Stream/Whatever you prefer that is going to be "a project everyone wants us to".

What could this mean? Well, it could be a chance at reviving the critically acclaimed Metroid Prime series. Then again, a lot of people have been asking for a new Star Fox game. There's also rumours that they're working on a sequel to Eternal Darkness.

The most recent rumour? A sequel to Donkey Kong Country Returns. The revival of the charming platforming series brought very presentable sales, so this could be the case. However, DKCR is a relatively new game, I doubt Retro would release this game as a launch, even if it were to be made.

I honestly really loved the game, and would appreciate a sequel. I mean - have you SEEN the HD screenshots for DKCR?

What are your opinions?
