Sixxon's Nintendo 3DS Review

Dun........
Dun.......
DUN......
.....DUN DUN!!!!!!!!!!
Yes. Almost a year of wating and the damn thing has finally hit store shelves. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you, the NINTENDO 3DS!

Graphics
Usually I don't judge on graphics, but the 3DS tone of graphical awesomeness has gone off the charts! Whether your eyes are wusses and you turn 3D off, or even when you are watching the action up close, the graphics look AMAZING!

Menus
The homebase of the 3DS has alot of tricks up its sleeve. You can go back from the game your playing, and there are four applications you can use, located in the top right corner. They are:
Game Memos- A note taking feature (DUH!)
Friend List- See what friends are online and what they are playing.
(EXTRA:There are new ways to register friends WITHOUT friend codes! When picking up friends locally, when you both connect, the code goes in automaticly. You can also do this with streetpass.)
Notifications-Streetpass and Spotpass notifications.
Internet Browser-(Not Activated yet)
When you are done, you go back to the game EXACTLY where you left it.

Streetpass
This truly is a amazing feature. It...er...um... Maybe Nintendo can explain it better.
''Social and wired like no Nintendo system before it, Nintendo 3DS brings fellow players together in exciting new ways with StreetPass™ communication. Set your Nintendo 3DS to Sleep Mode and carry it with you wherever you go to exchange game data like Mii™ characters, high scores, and custom characters with other users you pass on the street. You control what data you exchange, and you can exchange data for multiple games at once, making virtual connections with real world people you encounter in your daily life.''-Nintendo 3ds official website
See? But there are flaws in it. People in small neighborhoods will have no use for it, and if you live in a pour one, no one will have it. However! There is a way to get around this. There are streetpass groups popping up in every country imaginable. Find one in yours and see if you can attend a event.
Spotpass-
''SpotPass™Nintendo 3DS includes SpotPass™,a feature that lets Nintendo 3DS detect wireless hotspots or wireless LAN access points and obtain information, game data, free software, videos and so on for players even when the system is in sleep mode.''-Nintendo
Thats it. Same thing as streetpass but it connects to the internet.

Mii Maker
Name says it all. Just like the wii, but more features. Here's a comparison between Wii and 3DS.

Heads- Wii:8 3DS:12
Makeup/Aftershaves/Dimples- Wii-2 3DS-11
Wrinkles- Wii:8 3DS-11
Hair- Wii:6 pages 3DS:11 pages
Eyebrows: Wii:2 pages 3DS:2 pages
Eyes- Wii:4 pages 3DS: 5 pages
Nose-Wii: 1 page 3DS: 2 pages
Mouth-Wii:2 pages 3DS:3 pages
Sunglasses: Same
Mustashes: Wii:4 3DS:6
Beards: Wii:4 3DS:6

See? You can also import miis from your wii to the 3DS, make a image file for them, make a QR code and scan other miis, and last but not least, you can take a picture of someone and make a mii from that!

AR games
This is by far the best built-in feature of the 3DS. It allows you to play augumented reality games with the six AR cards that come with the system.

Thats pretty much it. I know, I didn't cover face raiders, but I did, and it went bye bye. So, to hell with typeing it over again. The Rating of the 3ds is........

9.5
There. It's not perfect, but it's awesome.
