Possibility that the 3DS could be used as a controller for Project Café?

Nintendo has always been known for giving you different ways to play your games. This most likely isn't different for their next console.

In fact, famed video game developer, Shigeru Miyamoto, spoke about his interest in using the 3DS as an optimal method to play games during his presentation in Paris. Seeing as the rumoured controller already has a built-in touch-screen, this is very plausible.

I imagine it would be very similar to how you could connect the GBA to the GC to assist you in playing various games. Albeit, it didn't work out that well, but regardless; this is at least something to ponder.
